The Calm after the Storm

Thank goodness for small favours.

The past week has been a pretty busy one but it's a good thing there was a chance for rest last weekend. And I guess nothing calms my nerves more than the thought that all three hurdles so far has been cleared. Although there is still much to settle, and small petty ghosts from the past are obtensibly not done haunting me, I think it's all workable.

Right now, I'm sitting here in lecture trying to multi-task - taking notes at TSY's rattling and blogging at the same time =)
I'm thinking back of the simple pleasure of waking up naturally (without any disturbance) , the leisurely walk to the MRT station to get to Kovan to window-shop and lunch. Even though the sun was scorching hot, it was quite enjoyable. I think it's the feeling of being free, free to do what one wishes.
I guess, ultimately, one can go pursue the stars and the moon and everthing else glamourous, but it's the simple pleasures of life that are priceless.
