Ahem, well anyway, not too bad a trip, too little time to go on a massive shopping spree(which is deeply regrettable) but nonetheless quite the R&R type of holiday.
Perhaps if I should overcome my sloth, I shall summon my scanner and scan some photos of the wondrous lavender fields and majestic shorelines.
But the highlight of the whole holiday has to be the Onsen part(hmm that's hotspring for the jap-illiterate). The spring water near the volcanoes in Hokkaido is sulphuric and really benefits skin hee. That and the fact that the water is a constant 40 degrees(warm and quite comfortable if complimented with the weather of 14-20 degrees). Loved the outdoor spring - cold and misty all around due to the cold weather, but the pool is constantly warm, so the contrast is pretty cool.
Yup, and the shopping in Tokyo is the same as ever - lots of really really nice stuff but so very unaffordable ;( But it's ok, they will become my motivation for the coming semester. Think good grades = good degree = good job and spending cash = all the shopping i can get in ginza, shinjuku, harajuku and that really cool shopping centre at odaiba!
Ha, I'm so very pragmatic when it comes to cash and shopping hee. But I'm sure my lord will provide those for me :) haha
Anyway, managed to get some clothes, jewellery and other stuffs nonetheless. (Of course I did. Did you think I'd get up the plane willingly if I didn't at least buy something?)
And I found these cute sweets that bear my name! (As some people know ;p)
