Nostalgia.

Was helping a friend out the other day with the national econs quiz. ( Don't give me that look, no, I did not set the questions. Of course not. Didn't even take econs.)

We went back to RJ to invigilate the quiz.

Well, firstly, it felt really great to be on the 'other side'! Like for once, I wasn't the one tearing my hair at the questions or shakily trying to pen down every single word. Call me sadistic, but hey, let's be frank, it's a great feeling watching people suffer sometimes haha ;p

Yup, other than the sadism, it was also a fun afternoon because we had fun passing notes, playing games on our handphones during the quiz.

Well, I guess good deeds bid good returns since I also got a chance to revisit RJ. It feels different returning to the place after graduation; perhaps it's a change of perspective I guess. My memories of my days in RJ are a blur - I only remember spending long hours in the library and jap room. Sad I know, but that's all I can vaguely recall.

Anyway, I made a trip to the jap room and found my old sensei in the same place, doing the same thing. He was quite glad to see me, and we spoke for a while. He looked tired, and a little aged I think. I was reminded of how fast time had passed, it's been more than a year since graduation. The jap room remained largely unchanged though. The class group which we took on our trip to Japan was still sitting in the same old corner, but come to think of it, I haven't met my classmates for quite a while now.
Well, it was a day filled with nostalgia of my JC days I guess.
