I was reading something a friend of mine wrote and it sparked off my thoughts some.

The dynamics of human relations are esoteric imo. There is no one clear definition of what makes people get along, or what causes the formation of any human relationship. (Hmm ok, one exception, the parent-child one is caused by birth. Hee).

Who is to say that two people meeting each other for the first time will become the best of friends, or that they will in time come to hate every aspect of each other? There is no certainty, and there is no pre-written script that may be followed. The ultimate determination lies with Time and Fate who as eternal companions to each other, hold hands and stare into the crystal ball where we live, occasionally poking their fingers in to prod us a little.

Try going into a cafeteria or any other place at a crowded time and observe any two conversing hypothetical strangers. If we had the power to track every development of the above two strangers, we may be saddened by how real potential of a possible friendship is wasted ultimately, or surprised at how two warring enemies can come to a truce at the end. Even then, there is still no way to tell how anything will turn out until the end.

We humans are already incomprehensible as it is, but our relationships are worse compared to ourselves.

At the end of it all, only one thought flashes across my mind. That is, before anything else happens to worsen our current relations with the people around us, treasure what you have in your hands. :)

Yup, this is a good thought to start off what my sister calls friendship week.
